About Bob DeAngelis

As Toronto's ultimate instrumentalist, JUNO award winner (Best Instrumental Album) Bob DeAngelis has become one of Canada's most accomplished bandleaders and freelance musicians. As a model of professionalism and integrity, Bob has evolved into a driving force in the area of live entertainment and is held in highest regard within the music industry and corporate event planners alike. Over the past 20 years, he has entertained for numerous heads of state including our Prime Ministers Pierre E. Trudeau, Brian Mulroney and several members of the British Royal Family, as well as United States Presidents Reagan & Bush. 

Bob (DeAngelis)'s dance band, Music Spectrum and The Bob DeAngelis Orchestra, are actively engaged at various functions such as conventions, trade shows, private parties, corporate galas and promotional events. He has headlined at Toronto's most prestigious hotels including House Band at the Royal York's Imperial Room and the grand opening of the Windsor Arms Hotel. His jazz bands perform at festivals, clubs, private functions, fund-raisers and promotions. Classy duos and trios create an elegant atmosphere for smaller gatherings such as office celebrations and promotions, receptions and hospitality suites. As a Musical Director/Entertainment Consultant, Bob has staged productions for corporate award ceremonies, theme galas and charity fund-raisers.

This Big Band of 11-21 pieces is perfect for special events, fundraisers, awards & ceremonies and receptions. The Champagne Big Band plays ALL the Classic Big Band music of Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw and more!

Bobby D and the Alley Cats!

Mix some Dixieland, Cajun Blues, Swing, Jive, Zydaco, New Orleans Stomp and you've kicked it up a notch wtih the Alley Cats! This band is unplugged and can really move around because it's an acoustic strolling unit!

Party Band/ Music Spectrum

This is an incredibly exciting dance band featuring three dynamic lead singers (two female and one male), sizzling horn section, and high-energy rhythm section made up of drums, guitar, bass, and keyboards. The band is extremely versatile, performing the most popular dance styles of music available including R&B, pop, motown, standards and swing. (Band size can be augmented or reduced according to budgets.)
